Michael discovered Lagree at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, and began practicing almost daily for a year at the Lagree213 outdoor studio in downtown Los Angeles. After years of practicing yoga and Pilates (in addition to triathlon and fitness training) he found the Lagree method to be so transformational—body, mind, and soul—that he jumped at the chance to become a certified teacher in May 2021 and he has been teaching regular classes at the Lagree213 studios ever since.
Michael is also a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, a classically trained singer, and a twice-published author with degrees in music from Oberlin Conservatory and the University of Utah. He is on the voice faculty at the the USC Thornton School of Music and the Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles.
